A Liberty Bell

A quick card for the challenge at CASology for
the cue word of "bell."  This is not my first card
for the challenge, however when I went to post it,
I found it to be too similar to another card already
entered.  This card could be used for any of the
patriotic holidays.

Supplies ~
Paper:  PTI White & SU Marina Mist
Punch: SU Postage Stamp
Additional Supplies:  PTI Impression Plate & Postage Stamps

Freshly Made Sketches & The Paper Players

A generic card sans sentiment for the sketch challenge
at Freshly Made Sketches and the CAS project with leaves
theme at The Paper Players. My leaves are in the patterned
paper, as well as, on the embossed panels.  I like to have cards
on hand with no sentiment to use for birthdays, get well or
thinking of you.  Combining these two challenges on a recent
post produced an honorable mention for both challenges ~
thank you Jaydee and Rita for choosing this card.

Supplies ~
Paper:  PTI Soft Stone, White & Soft Stone Pattern Pack
Dies:  MFT Fishtail Flags Stax
Additional Supplies:  PTI In Bloom Impression Plate, PTI Buttons & PTI Button Twine, Crocheted Flowers - LCS

Peace, Love & Sparkly Stuff

Eight cards for four challenges ~ all using the sketch from
CAS(E) this Sketch.  I had a very similar card in mind when
I had to buy the Tinsel 'N Trim set from Reverse Confetti ~
just to use this fun sentiment "Peace, Love & Sparkly Stuff."
I love snowflakes and even better ~ glittery snowflakes.  I don't
consider even one of these cards to have traditional Christmas
colors.  I made them for specific people using their favorite
colors.  I also made two for the current color challenge at
Dynamic Duos to use Black and Smoky Slate with the
Dessert Option of Christmas.  CAS-ual Fridays and
week for a CAS Christmas theme.   Sorry, I do not have any
CAS-ual Fridays Christmas stamps.  I went with the
snowflakes on the Christmas tree in the inspiration photo.

Supplies ~ Partial List
Stamp:  Reverse Confetti Tinsel 'N Trim
Paper: PTI White, Glitz & Glitter Bright Solids & Sweet Solids, Patterned Paper Doodlebug Designs
Lily White Sprinkles & Pebbles Basics Ash Chevron, several PTI & SU cardstocks

Dies:  PTI Fancy Flakes & Spellbinders Petite Scalloped Ovals Large
Additional Supplies:  Various Ribbons & Rhinestones, PTI Impression Plate, Sizzix & Cuttlebug

More Baby Shower Thanks

Here is another set of thank you cards made for a baby shower gift.
for their Thanks / Thanksgiving challenge.  My previous post is a
different set of baby thank you's.  Perhaps there was something
in the water seven to nine months ago ~ everyone I know who is
pregnant is having a girl.  I think that using an embossing folder
or texture plate and a large sentiment is enough to make a nice set
of cards to give as a gift.  I usually make eight or twelve and find
that even being a slow cardmaker, I can still finish in a reasonable
amount of time.  I plan on working on more for Christmas gifts.

This is the baby card I made to go along with this gift.

Supplies (abbreviated) ~ If you have questions, I will be happy to answer them.
Stamps: all PTI
Paper:  PTI White, SU Very Vanilla, Regal Rose & Pretty in Pink
Ink:  PTI Hibiscus Burst & SU Chocolate Chip
Dies:  all PTI
Additional Supplies:  PTI & Taylored Expressions Impression Plates, Cuttlebug Embossing Folder,

Christmas Blessings

A Christmas card for challenges at CASology, CAS-ual Fridays
and Freshly Made Sketches.  At CASology the cue word is "brown,"
and at CAS-ual Fridays the challenge is to use embossing.  I tend to
like bright colors, but I really like how this brown and neutral
Christmas card turned out.

In real life the glitter paper is almost exactly the same color as
the fine linen patterned paper.  In the photo the colors seem to clash.

Supplies ~
Stamps:  PTI Christmas Blessings & Star of Wonder
Paper:  PTI Fine Linen, Vintage Cream & Fine Linen Pattern Pack, SU Chocolate Chip &
Glitz & Glitter Sweet Solids Pack
Ink:  SU Chocolate Chip
Die & Punch:  PTI Limitless Layers 1 3/4" Circles, EK Success 1 3/4" Circle
Additional Supplies:   PTI Linen Impression Plate, Doodlebug Design Sprinkles, &
      Queen & Co.Twinkle Goosebumps

Yet Another Fall Card

The ladies, Sylvia and Christine, at Addicted to CAS, were so kind to
choose my cards for Top 3 in the last two challenges, so naturally I
had to play along again for the current one layer challenge.
I am also entering them at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge,
where the current challenge is to keep it clean and simple.

Despite making mostly CAS cards, I find one layer cards very difficult.
I like my die cuts, and truthfully I am not really very good at stamping.
I often go through a lot of cardstock to get a clean stamped image.  I
think part of my problem is that I have a lot of clear stamps and often
use Stampin Up! inks. Do you have have a favorite ink for clear stamps?

Supplies ~ Celebrate Fall
Stamps:  Technique Tuesday Celebrate Fall, # 310 & # 389 ~ Bad Axe Trading Co. (much older stamps)
Paper:  PTI Rustic White
Ink:  SU Soft Suede, Pumpkin Pie, Tangerine Tango, So Saffron, More Mustard & Daffodil Delight
Additional Supplies: Rhinestones - LCS

Supplies ~ Happy Thanksgiving
Stamps:  PTI Grunge Me & Watercolor Wonder, Craft's Meow Harvest Blessings
Paper:  PTI White
Ink:  PTI Summer Sunrise, Orange Zest, Terracotta Tile & Fine Linen (a few of my PTI inks)
Additional Supplies:  Avery Elle Sequins

Happy Birthday, Tracey!

A CAS Birthday card for the Queen of CAS, Tracey.
Joyce, at Cards-by-the-Sea has arranged a birthday
party for her.  Tracey is on more design teams than
I can count, and for very good reason ~ her cards are
simply fabulous!  Since this is a birthday card, I am
also entering it at Seize the Birthday and at
they are both having an "anything goes" challenge.

All supplies except for Doodlebug Sprinkles are from PTI.

Tracey, hope you had a wonderful birthday!
